Description

Brittany Bui with Robert Half is seeking a Budget Analyst to work in our office located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves managing financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring compliance and accountability, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's overall direction.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with various departments within the organization to develop a comprehensive budget

• Gather financial data, assess needs and priorities, and forecast revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal period

• Based on the organization's goals, priorities, and financial resources, create long-term financial plans

• Allocate funds to different departments or projects according to their needs and the organization's strategic objectives

• Monitor actual financial performance against the budget throughout the fiscal year

• Prepare regular financial reports and analyses for senior management, board members, or government officials

• Ensure that the organization complies with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements

• Promote accountability and transparency by establishing internal controls, conducting audits, and addressing any discrepancies or concerns

• Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial expertise and insights

• Manage accounting functions and use Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Hyperion Technologies, and other relevant software for budget processes, expenditure, and expense reporting.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in budget administration, managing budget constraints, preparing and managing project budgets, and providing leadership in the area of budget management and forecasting.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Budget Analyst or similar role.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Experience with Hyperion Technologies is a plus.

• Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Previous experience with Budget Processes is required.

• Must be adept at creating and maintaining Documentation.

• Must be capable of managing Expenditure and Expense Reporting.

• Experience in Budget administration is necessary.

• Ability to work within Budget Constraints.

• Proven ability to Prepare Budgets.

• Experience with Project Budgets is a plus.

• Ability to Provide Leadership to a team.

• Must have experience in Budget Management.

• Experience with Budgeting - Forecasting is required.
