WE ARE LOOKING FOR an Administrative Assistant for our Banquets Department!

Job Summary:

The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Banquets team.

The hourly rate for this position starts at $22/hour.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Banquet scheduling

· Checking DDR daily for changes and updates- adjust schedule as needed for timing and guarantee

· Create signage- Buffet labels, bar signs, directional signage

· Prepare daily paperwork, including copies of server paperwork, consumption sheets for coffee breaks and bars

· Submit weekly F&B Requisitions for purchasing

· Attend Monthly Safety Meetings

· Coordinate Monthly and Yearly compliance trainings for staff

· Reconciliation of employee timecards.

· Assisting with employee weekly payroll.

· Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager.

· Provide occasional support during events.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

· Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Detailed oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

· Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with events and banquets

· Previous experience working with a CBA helpful but not required

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Schedule will be a set schedule approximately 80% of the time, with 20% being scheduled based on business needs
