Skookum is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Janitor with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures. Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Cleaning halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Cleaning entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Trash - trash lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas trash according to schedule. Restocking supplies - restock supplies daily. Dusting - dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only. Cleaning stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule. Cleaning portable showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures. Maintaining lockers - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment before storing. Wet/Dry mopping - wet/dry mop each floor according to schedule. Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule. Communicating with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers. Qualifications: Communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way. Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers in a professional manner. Must be able to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
