Job Title: Clinic Cleaner

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms in the hospital, primarily focusing on sanitizing rooms between patient discharges. This role involves significant walking, so the candidate must be comfortable being on their feet all day. Responsibilities include wiping down equipment, emptying trash, sweeping floors, dusting, cleaning spills, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed. Attention to detail is crucial as the work spans multiple floors.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize hospital rooms between patient discharges

• Wipe down equipment

• Empty trash

• Sweep floors and dust

• Clean spills and mop surfaces

• Use iPhones issued by the hospital to receive daily assignments and work orders

• Access tutorials via iPhones if uncertain about cleaning procedures

Essential Skills

• Experience with smart phone technology

• Ability to learn and navigate the hospital floor plan

• Comfortable with significant walking and being on feet all day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial work, preferably in healthcare

• Willingness to transition from manufacturing/distribution to healthcare

• GED/diploma preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Adherence to a 3 strike attendance policy

Work Environment

The work environment is very fast-paced and requires patience. Employees in the EHS department work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and major holidays. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a similar environment and be prepared for a few weeks of onboarding before receiving a badge. Flexibility and adaptability are key.

This is a Contract position based out of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
