Seedguy Hydroseeding Grading and Seeding Laborers in Port Huron, Michigan
We are looking for experienced Grading and Hydroseeding Laborers.
Knowledge of working with track loaders, tractors and the implements used to prepare a yard for seeding is required.
If looking to work on the hydroseeding crew, knowledge of how to load and spray is required. Being able to lift 50lbs or more is also a requirement.
Other job tasks:
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
- Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
- Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions
- Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment
- Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
Experienced starting at $25/hr
Non Experienced starting at $20/hr
Must have a chauffeurs license and a good driving record and your own transportation.
Must submit to pre-employment and random drug testing.
Work is from Monday through Friday 40-50hrs/week.

We work in 7 counties but our main work consist in St Clair, Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties. If you are hired as a laborer you may be have the opportunity to drive to the job site on your own without having to come to our home base of Port Huron. So people looking to fill one of these positions can reside from areas outside of St Clair county.
