Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. This role entails interpreting mechanical drawings, performing quality checks, welding company parts made of carbon steel, and designing and building simple jigs and fixtures. You will also be responsible for mentoring Welder I’s on welding and quality control of products and using hand and power tools to complete work. An attractive salary range of $20-28+/hr is offered along with optional double-time work on Sundays. First and second shift options are available.

Hard Skills

  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings including weld symbols

  • Quality check skills using calipers and dial indicators

  • Experience in welding carbon steel

  • Ability to perform basic fit-up of company product to mechanical drawings

  • Designing and building simple jigs and fixtures

  • Mentoring skills

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Strong mentoring skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Commitment to quality control

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 13 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Port Clinton, Ohio.
