Tin Goose Diner Diner Host in Port Clinton, Ohio
Company: Tin Goose Diner Job Title: Diner Host Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time The Diner Host is responsible for ensuring a quality dining experience for our visitors. A partial list of responsibilities follows:
- Cashiering, and cash management, become proficient with Point of Sale system use.
- Seat customers to maximize server efficiency
- Take beverage orders from customers as they are seated
- Maintain customer waiting lists when needed
- Process "To-Go" food orders
- Assist with rolling/bagging silverware
- Assist with bussing tables during periods of peak volume
- Practice safe food handling techniques
- Determine where help is needed most, and step in to assist or arrange for others to assist
- Ensure safety of diner associates and guests in the event of an accident, emergency, or weather events.
- Be aware of location, and be familiar with operation of fire extinguishers, AED, first aid, and other safety equipment
- Other activities as directed by management.
