Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist, where you will be responsible to operate CNC machines including DMG Mori NLX-3000, Amerisieki VTL, and Bridge Mill, utilizing Fanuc controls. The role requires machining various materials like carbon steel, bronze, stainless steel, and more, for custom repairs. You will handle parts ranging from 7” impellers to 72” pump casings and maintain precision within tight tolerances. Additionally, you will be involved in manual machining, operating equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and mills, while working to similar high standards of precision.

Hard Skills

• 6+ years of CNC experience

• Ability to measure in 0.0001” and hold sizes within 0.0005”

• Conversion of fractions to decimals and ability to read machinist scales

• Experience working with multiple materials

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Port Arthur, Texas.

Work Environment

The work schedule is currently day shift, Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with potential overtime and future evening shifts on a rotating basis.
