Life support systems maintenance. Provide daily care and feeding of animals according to established protocols. Prepare and administer prescribed diets, supplements, and medications. Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the Education Aquarist. Administer and assist with medical treatments and routine health checks. Maintain accurate records of animal care, treatments, and observations. Collection of exhibit animals when needed. Assist with quarantine measures for animals when needed. Educate visitors and staff about animal care and conservation efforts. Assist with Patton Center operations, including guests, exhibits and programming. Assist and help train Patton Center docents and Education sector volunteers. Assist with gift shop operations including sales, inventory, display upkeep and maintain accurate records. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and animals.
