Take Ten Tire and Lube currently has an opportunity available for Tire Service Technicians who are energetic and team oriented. Must have tire knowledge with experience and be responsible for the service and maintenance of tires and wheels and safely getting our phenomenal customers back on the road again. The primary role for this position is to conduct all levels of tire service for our customers. This is a progressive role that allows the Tire Tech II to master skills required to move to a Tire Tech III position as it becomes available. The Tire Tech II position is essential to proper shop service as well as service calls and any special projects as assigned. All work must follow company policies, procedures, and industry best practices and no employee should attempt to do any work for which they are not trained.

Essential Functions

  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires from passenger to large trucks. Large truck tires only after completion of TIA CTS certification.

{=html} <!-- --> - Check for and recommend any additional service needed. Repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager (both in shop and mobile).

{=html} <!-- --> - Section Repairs and Fleet Inspections. Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.

{=html} <!-- --> - Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each workday and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the Service Manager.

{=html} <!-- --> - Check all fluid levels in service truck and air compressor during pre-trip inspection.

{=html} <!-- --> - Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside and out) and maintain standards of cleanliness in all areas.

{=html} <!-- --> - Advise sales representatives concerning possible issues and make recommendations.

{=html} <!-- --> - Perform jobs using proper and safe procedures at all times.

{=html} <!-- --> - Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies.

{=html} <!-- --> - Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company.

{=html} <!-- --> - Obtain and maintain current TIA certifications and other certifications required to perform assigned tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: \$14.00 - \$16.00 per hour
