Job Description
Office Assistant /Child Nutrition
Date: July 1, 2016
Reports to: Director of CNP, Assistant Director of CNP, CNP Manager or Lead, Site Principal
Supervises: N/A
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
Job Goal: Responsible to represent the school building and district in a most positive way to students, staff, parents, and total community. Performs work of a general office nature which assists with the smooth operation of the building.
Employment Terms:9 Month Contract
FLSA Classification:Nonexempt
Evaluation: Annually by Director of Child Nutrition

Regular Requirements: Stand for extended periods; walk; twist at the
neck and trunk; bend and reach with hands and arms overhead,
above shoulder and horizontally; repetitive use of fingers and hands
to grasp and/or operate equipment and demonstrate lessons to
students; lift/move up to 15 pounds
Occasional Requirements: Lift/move up to 25 pounds,
ability to administer CPR
Visual Requirements:Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements:Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates stand office equipment.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. Files records/memos.
{=html} <!-- --> 1. Makes and receives phone calls, takes messages, routes calls. Attends required professional development training.
{=html} <!-- --> 1. Provides appropriate first aid.
{=html} <!-- --> 1. Administers medications according to policy and regulations. Maintains records of child nutrition program for site.
{=html} <!-- --> 1. Performs duties in accordance with district policies and procedures.
{=html} <!-- --> 1. To ensure continuity of services, remote work may be necessary in the event of a health crisis or disruptive situation that requires the closing of school and/or office buildings. An employees eligibility for remote work will be determined by the superintendent of schools. Expectations and guidelines for remote work will be distributed by the employees supervisor, based on his/her role and responsibilities.
