Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, based in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role encompasses a variety of tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, addressing customer inquiries, and managing customer accounts. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the processing of customer credit applications

• Keep accurate records related to customer credit

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Ensure accurate three-way match processing

• Liaise with internal teams for follow-ups regarding purchase orders

• Oversee weekly check runs and manage up to 75 invoices per week

• Develop knowledge of the vendor system for reporting sales tax

• Scan and input invoices into the ERP system

• Interact with vendors, ensuring payments are made as promptly as possible. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding procedures and practices

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems for efficient record keeping and financial management

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services for accurate financial data processing

• Familiarity with Concur software for streamlined expense and invoice management

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to integrate and manage main business processes

• Capable of performing diverse Accounting Functions accurately and promptly

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) management for effective control over cash flow

• Experience with Accrual Accounting to record financial transactions accurately

• Proficiency in Auditing for ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial records

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient electronic money transfer.
