Siemens Industry is looking for a quality engineer for their Pomona, CA manufacturing facility. This person will have a key role in the growth of the overall facility. Our facility is growing and looking to add a talented quality engineer to expand our capabilities. This person will work closely with our fabrication and assembly production teams to monitor operational processes and help drive improvement projects. The role will report to the quality manager and will have no direct reports.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer. This position will be based at Pomona California.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing engineering specifications and monitoring operational processes to develop and install quality control methods, practices and procedures.

• Recommend characteristics to be inspected and techniques to be followed

• Collecting and reporting quality performance metrics

• Participate in solving complex quality problems and use the following tools: corrective action procedures, APQP, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and SPC.

• Responsible for collaborating with a team of process quality auditors and managing daily non-conforming materials.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Skilled in root cause analysis and complex manufacturing problem solving techniques.

• Experience with ISO management systems.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in related disciplines

• Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Green Belt.

• Excellent ability to influence others without formal authority.

• Experience with statistical analysis.

• Experience with Visual Basic programming or other similar languages

• Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.

• Proven track record of innovative thinking and process improvement

• The pay range for this position is <$79,400 - $97,200>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
