Job Tittle: Facilities Tech/Maintenance

Location: Pomona, CA

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm (plus overtime)

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE

Job Summary: Provide electrical and mechanical support for assigned buildings. Responsibilities span low/medium voltage power, HVAC systems and controls, mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Primary focus on electrical/mechanical support for power systems, lighting systems/controls, and facility subsystems/tools. May require being on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general interior maintenance (hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing furniture, etc.)

• Handle special tasks like painting, locksmith work, tenant requests, and general maintenance.

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.

• Assist operations team with building and equipment maintenance/repairs.

• Conduct minor plumbing repairs.

• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment as requested.

• Inspect facilities, report on conditions, ensure due diligence.

• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in work areas.

• Identify safety hazards and propose elimination methods.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• 3-5 years of experience in building repairs/maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work

Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid state driver's license

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• English communication skills (oral), ability to escalate issues.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, overhead work.

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Use ladders up to 30 ft, work from heights.

• Climb 300 lb. rated ladder while carrying 20 lb. tool bag.
