Facility Maintenance performs basic and routine facility maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service requirements, quality, and safety standards.

Following standard operating procedures, installs inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems. This role assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility. Utilizes a work order system to log activities as required by the company. Additionally, works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Will also work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a very good understanding of general aspects of the job.

Equipment Operation:

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to complex building needs.

• Support other team members on equipment repairs as needed to ensure equipment is functioning as expected.

• Continuously inspect buildings and grounds to ensure they meet required standards. As needed, immediately address all deficiencies found

QUALIFICATION -Knowledge Skill and Abilities (KSAs)

General Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines given by the Manager and/or Supervisor, maintenance coordinator or maintenance lead.

• Must demonstrate to follow the Yamamotoyama safety rules.

• Must have 2+ years of similar experience.

• Be able to accurately calculate quantities and/or sizes when ordering construction materials using measuring tools and calculators.

• Knowledge of safe use of power tools.

• Knowledge and understanding of proper use of volt/ohm/meter(VOM)

• Ability to identify and resolve building issues promptly (Irrigation, plumbing, electrical, sewer, building grounds, HVAC, roof leaks, GMP corrections, etc.).

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Bilingual-English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Skills

• Communicates (verbally and written) with a high level of professionalism.

• Assists in identifying and resolving building issues promptly (Irrigation, plumbing, electrical, sewer, building grounds, HVAC, roof leaks, GMP corrections, etc.).

• Must have excellent organization.

• This position requires being detail-oriented and must be concerned with keeping or making our building well-maintained.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
