We’re assembling a team to lead Southern California Edison's (SCE) Customer GridEdge (CGE)/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) 2.0 initiative, a multi-billion-dollar investment set to redefine the industry. Advanced metering is essential for shaping the grid of tomorrow and unlocking benefits for SCE’s customers, the grid itself, and California as a whole. Together, we’ll drive business transformation across the enterprise with state-of-the-art measurement, communication, and analytics systems.

Become a Senior Specialist at (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you will support business development activities, coordinate internal communications, and maintain organizational tools. You will also provide cross-functional support to CGE Integration and Product Strategy teams.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Support business development and implementation activities, including providing business and analytical support for business case, regulatory application, and technical roadmap.

  • Lead internal communications, including developing newsletters, coordinating roadshows, and supporting management presentations that are technical and strategic in nature.

  • Recommend, develop and manage CGE team organizational tools, including SharePoint sites, MS Teams Channel, Power BI Dashboards, and Distribution lists.

  • Use knowledge of business processes to identify and implement continuous improvement activities that result in team efficiencies and higher work productivity.

The essentials

  • Minimum 5 years experience in data/business analytics or project management support

  • Experience developing presentations and/ or written communications

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

The preferred

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree.

  • Process improvement certification, such as Six Sigma.

  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and/ or PowerBI.

  • Experience with utility regulatory filings and processes.

  • Experience providing advice and/or recommendations that have moderate departmental or business unit impact.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to act independently and collaboratively, solid problem-solving capabilities, and can drive results.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
