The Rehabilitation Therapist Supervisorand#146;s primary responsibilities include: supervision to include hiring, firing, and evaluating Rehabilitation Therapist Technician I, II and III staff while performing highly complex habilitation/rehabilitation work a providing assistance to therapists for an assigned therapeutic specialty, (e.g., music therapy, therapeutic recreation, dance/movement therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, adaptive living skills, functional life skills, pre-vocational skills, or vocational rehabilitation). Work involves overseeing, monitoring and/or providing instruction/training regarding treatment plans for assigned therapeutic specialty to Rehabilitation Therapist Technician I, II and III and direct care staff. Will train and supervise others. Will manage the on campus gift shop and bistro. Valid driverand#146;s license and ability to drive a state vehicle may be required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.This position is required to drive a state-owned vehicle.Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.Manages the Super Seniors and Music Fest for Recreation.
