Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As a Fuel Distribution Systems Operator, you will monitor and maintain the amount of fuel in the tanks for fuel operations, perform usage calculations and request service time and amount for tank filling. Further you will prepare and check receiving/shipping documents and fuel accountability paperwork, visually inspect samples of fuel, and check API and fuel additives with test equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily fuel accountability, paperwork, and reports.

  • Responsible for direct daily oversight of subcontract workers.

  • Perform daily Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) of fuel related equipment.

  • Handle daily testing of fuel.

  • Gauge tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels.

  • Comply with all KBR Safety and Quality Programs.

  • Follow all daily fuel retail and mobile operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires at least 2 years of directly related experience.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Applications.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Army Fuel Regulations.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
