POSITION TITLE: SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST-ASSISTANT\ \ LOCATION: DISTRICTWIDE
CLOSING DATE: Position open until filled\ \ ADDITIONAL INFO: 37.5 hours per week\ \ DAYS: Nine-month employment\ \ SALARY: \$25.39 per hour\ \ JOB SUMMARY:\ \ The principle function of an employee in this class is to provide follow through on delivering Speech and/or Language services through the Individual Education Plan (IEP) plans established by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLP-A delivers IEP services under the general supervision of the SLP. The SLP-A assistant maintains documentation of all activities and therapy provided, including tracking of Medicaid charges and reports significant changes in student status to the SLP.
