Your Role at Baxter: In the role of a Project Manager you will provide business and execution leadership for one or more projects, holding accountability for project schedule, budget, risks, and interacts with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective communications. As a PM you will lead project teams through the identification, justification, prioritization, initiation, development and implementation processes. Additionally, you will lead the project team to define the milestones to achieve the launch date commitments and identify issues and risks associated with those plans. What you'll be doing: Accountable for project team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend. Lead team in defining project strategies, developing goals, and ensure program scope is defined and controlled. Continuously interact with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. Ensure identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies. Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes. Lead core team to identify and implement continuous improvement. What you'll bring: 7+ years of product life cycle experience 5+ years project/program management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site projects PMI or IPMA or equivalent certification preferred MBA/MS or Bachelor's degree Strong knowledge Medical Device Product Lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820) Business Acumen Role Model of Vital Behaviors and Leadership Essentials Expertise in all aspects of program management Ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles Ability to manage cross-functional teams simultaneously in a matrix environment The role thus requires the person to be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, be capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience Ability to travel up to 25% of time Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
