Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living team in Plymouth, MN! This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. They will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment. This maintenace/repairs/grounds schedule includes;

• 80 hours every two weeks

• day shift

• Weekend and holiday rotation

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice of Plymouth is one of our newest senior communities. We are located at the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55 in the Northwest suburb of Plymouth, MN. We offer 94 units of Independent, Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Responsibilities Job Description

• Basic maintenance and safety awareness

• Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors and supervisors.

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

• Ability to respond to tenant/visitor/staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems

• One to three years of previous experience

Preferred:

• High school Diploma/GED

Compensation

$18.15- $25.63/Hourly
