Your Role Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments, complex in nature. Perform detailed analyses and tests required for research, development or quality control of processes and products. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments of a complex nature. Compile, analyze and interpret preliminary results. What you'll be doing Write experimental reports, summaries and protocols. Develop and maintain record keeping for experiment performed. Perform troubleshooting and calibration of instruments. Perform servicing/upgrading of electromechanical test devices Apply advanced techniques and procedures to assigned projects. Work is complex in nature and performed under minimal supervision. Responsible for setup, acquisition and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies. Responsible for supervising and leading others including training about equipment processes and procedures. Applies creative thinking to resolve issues, provides recommendations to engineers (e.g. technical, study method, study equipment based on analysis of results). Provide inputs to lab supervisor/manager on lab strategic plans. Plans for lab continuity related to supplies, equipment calibration, etc. Demonstrate awareness of FDA, ISO and IEC design control procedures and regulations and standards, and GLP and EHS practices and standards, within area of responsibility/expertise What you'll bring Ability to handle multiple task assignments with minimal supervision to ensure customer needs are met. Demonstrate skills in test method development, test fixture design and development, data analysis and report writing. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and make recommendations to engineers. Demonstrates expertise in particular functional area High school diploma or equivalent.AA Degree in a technical field is preferred.5+ years experience in related field. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 to $88,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
