Philips Director of Quality Program Management in Plymouth, Minnesota
The Director of Quality Program Management will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and quality system programs across the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) organization.
Your role:
You will lead and mentor a team of project managers, program managers, and other staff to successfully execute and deliver projects. Develop and implement a comprehensive project/program management strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and ensure alignment with business strategies. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and performance.
Responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-priority projects and programs, ensuring that all are managed effectively, and resources are allocated efficiently. Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to project performance. Will define and enforce standardized project management processes, tools, and templates across the organization, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
Responsible for implementing project governance structures, ensuring proper oversight and alignment with organizational priorities. Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects. Ensure that all projects are compliant with internal and external regulations, standards, and policies.
You will manage resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring that teams have the necessary support and tools to succeed. Develop staffing plans and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members. Coordinate with functional leaders to ensure cross-departmental collaboration and resource availability.
Will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate executive-level project reviews and steering committee meetings, presenting clear, actionable updates. Manage and mitigate project risks and conflicts while maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You’ve acquired a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in all aspects of FDA regulated, quality focused program/project management, including strategy, development, execution, project scope, schedules, budgets, and proactively identifying/resolving risks or issues that may impact delivery. Expertise with tools/techniques such as MS Project, PowerPoint (presentation creation/delivery), PMBOK, Agile, Stage/Phase/Toll Gate or hybrid approaches. etc. Proven functional and strategic leadership of diverse, high functioning program/project management teams.
Your skills include proven experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and proactively identifying/resolving risks or issues that may impact delivery. Expertise with tools/techniques such as MS Project, PowerPoint (presentation creation/delivery), PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, Stage/Phase/Toll Gate or hybrid approaches. etc.
You have proven experience building relationships, effectively communicating detailed information and strategic decisions to Internal/External project stakeholders and leaders at all levels.
You’ve acquired a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (required) in Engineering, Quality or related disciplines. Master’s degree preferred. PMP, PMBOK and/or Agile Certifications preferred.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our Office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an Office role.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO and Orange, OH is $137,000 to $236,000.
The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $144,000 to $248,000.
The pay range for this position in San Diego/Fremont, CA is $154,000 to $264,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
