Daikin Applied Business Analyst - IT in Plymouth, Minnesota
This position uses professional concepts as well as company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways through a broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Receives, solicits, and interprets information and facilitates communication at appropriate levels between IT and its customers by engaging in the preparation of documentation and presentations and participating in meetings Demonstrates fundamental skills of facilitation, influence, negotiation, mediation in discussions in order to achieve business goals and objectives Acquires fundamental skills for managing conflict to move discussions about tradeoffs towards resolution and decision Understands key business objectives and processes of IT's customer, specifically how those objectives relate to the business' problems and needs, their tools and systems Understands "customer context", which consists of business processes and IT infrastructure and tools which support customer needs Participates in activities designed to ensure customer expectations are met Participates in ensuring JSOX and other compliance standards are met, and development of controls Interact with third parties including application service providers and partners.
