The Network Engineer is responsible for the daily operations, security and maintenance of all Routing, Switching, Wireless and Perimeter Security (Firewalls/VPN) devices throughout the corporate network. You will partner with the Technical Services/Infrastructure group to ensure all mission-critical networking systems and applications are available and functioning at all times. You Will: Manage network routing and switching equipment including configuration and on-going upgrades and maintenance. Oversee wireless networks, access points, and controllers. Maintain corporate firewalls/VPN appliances and the company-wide SDWAN environment. Work with the Internal Security Team to perform regular security audits and take corrective action(s). Handle tickets escalated from the Help Desk in a timely manner. Coordinate activities with the users and development staff to effectively implement systems. Review requests for changes to existing systems and resulting system modifications; monitor progress and verify system modifications are complete. Partner with the IT Department and other functional units to research, define, and implement new technologies. You Have: Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experienced managing a network of 500 users. Cisco CCNA or CCNP required. CompTIA Security preferred.
