"Job#: 2040719  Job Description:  Payroll AdministratorReporting to the Group Controller for production facility in Kensington, Pennsylvania. ResponsibilitiesProcess all aspects of weekly union payroll, from gathering timeclock information to completion of payrollProcess semi-monthly non-union payrollProcess semi-monthly payroll for sister companyFile and pay all federal, state and local taxesFile and pay quarterly unemployment taxesManage state tax withholding & unemployment accounts as neededShort-term and Long-term disability, FMLA, Workers CompensationTrack sick and vacation timeWork closely with Plant Manager to ensure all regulations for union workers are met and enforcedMonthly payroll reportingExpense report analysis and reportingOnboarding new employees, processing terminationsAdminister health insurance policiesMaintain all personnel files with strict confidentialityReport and track all work-related injuries under OSHA guidelines, reporting injuries to workers' compensation carrierAd hoc assignments for company and sister companySkillsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related area3-5 years' experienceGeneral knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principlesInterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levelsAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environmentStrong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, and Oracle NetSuite acumenSuperior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big pictureDemonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communicationLive in proximity to the Philadelphia locationThis is an on-site role.Only local candidates will be considered.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
