Overview:

H&M’s East Region is looking for a highly motivated and effective financial professional. We are seeking an individual that thrives in a team environment, has excellent communication skills, and pro-actively builds strong relationships which are essential to the delivery of our objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support company-wide projects related to the JDE applications, including but not limited to developing and maintaining reports and interfaces, project migrations and provide functional and technical support.

  • Export JDE tables to analyze data for project setups, financials (billing and revenue variances) and month end close preparation.

  • Analyze budget and projections in JDE.

  • Coordinate the Month End Financials to the Line of Business Controllers and Finance team. Identify known issues and assist them with corrections in preparation of the month end close. Assist the business units and teams with month end adjustments for the month end close. Coordinate the reports back to Corporate.

  • Support the project controllers with the JDE applications such as job setups, billing, PO receiving’s and project close out.

  • Run Revenue Recognition for the Region to support workfile management in the JDE.

  • Serve as a Job Cost Super User to support supporting business applications and support end users with application related issues in the Region.

  • Develop functional and technical requirements, specification, and end user documentation.

  • Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-BU relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness.

  • Effectively communicate, work with and liaise between internal JDE clients (management, staff, and end users), JDE support team members (management and staff), other IT groups and 3rd-party vendors.

  • Work closely with the BU’s functional representatives in the development of simplified/lean process improvements or operating practices which best utilize the systems to improve quality; increase productivity; and supports business goals.

  • Participates in Integration Testing, including development of test plans, test cases and scenarios and documentation of results, and conducts user acceptance testing.

  • Analyzes and documents relevant business processes.

  • Manage ticketing queue of Job Cost issues and enhancement requests, providing regular, timely updates on tickets.

  • Coordinates, supports and troubleshoots scheduled reports, interface and connectivity issues with other internal and external systems.

  • Proactively learn and understand JDE Updates and develop plan for implementation, training and user support.

  • Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-BU relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness.

  • Liaison with IT and Cross Functional Teams (Payroll, Procurement, Fleet, Finance, Job Cost) to understand and build technical requirements for system. Assist with creating and testing scripts for the end users.

  • Conduct periodic system audit checks.

  • Reviews data input and output reporting for accuracy; maintains data integrity in system by running queries and analyzing data on a regular basis.

  • Accurately research, analyze, interpret and troubleshoot data and reports.

  • Technical point-of-contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Accounting or related business field preferred.

  • Experience - minimum of 2 years in the construction industry preferred.

  • Experience building and designing analytical programs related to projects and project controls.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Action oriented and full of energy to seek new challenges but remains focused on attainable and measurable improvements.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power-Point.

  • Willing to travel at moderate levels (20%).
