POSITION SUMMARY As Director of Master Data Management (MDM), you will work closely with IT and business functions to establish, refine, and deploy core data management policies and procedures across the enterprise. You will guide a federated team of data stewards and governance specialists to drive data quality and relevancy across the organization. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a high-functioning operational data management and stewardship program. * Work with Enterprise Data teams and business owners to set strategic goals and initiatives for CDM/MDM platform * Establish a federated data stewardship program with representation from all relevant data domains and business functions * Improve overall quality of critical data elements and operational efficiency * Align business teams with IT teams to ensure data quality efforts are complete across enterprise systems * Coordinate survivorship rules within CDM/MDM platform and accountable for ensuring expected outcome * Establish policies and procedures for acquiring new data and data lifecycle management * Provide expert level input and guidance for establishing a lasting data management program with tangible results

Essential Functions:

Data Governance:

Ensure best practices related to Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) and Master Data Governance (quality, integrity, management, ownership, access, security and control protection and archiving)

Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, standards and best practices to support ongoing data management activities. Implement and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity during the integration process.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data flows, mappings, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing. Create Design Document and data models addressing business needs for the client MDM environment.

Collaborate with a team of Business Stewards to ensure data assets are curated to maximize business value to data users.

Data Management:

Understand full master data lifecycle (including unique business and legal data requirements of various functions) and how quality data can be best provided, analyzed, preserved and optimized to leverage business benefit

Assess the current state architecture & understand current business processes for managing and implementing Master Data Management solutions across all business groups.

Develop and execute a robust integration strategy for MDM systems aligning it with the organization's data management objectives and business requirements.

Plan and coordinate the integration of MDM systems with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and databases, considering data synchronization, transformation, and cleansing requirements.
