"Job#: 2041656  Job Description:  Responsibilities:Removing impediments for the team with tenacity and urgencyFacilitating Scrum events and ensure necessary preparation work is completed in advance to create efficient, engaging, and productive eventsSupporting and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlogMonitoring team activity and progress against sprint goalsManaging artifacts in development toolsLeading retrospectives, capture minutes/actions and circulateCapturing sprint metrics for monitoring team performanceAttending project update meetings, milestone review meetings, and process improvement meetingsCoordinating with other Scrum teams and other cross-functional groupsAnalyzefinancial budget for projectsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software/ Information Technology or similar technical field, or equivalent experienceCertified Scrum Master (SAFe Certified)10+ year of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that followed Scrum principles, practices, and theoryExperience with lean portfolio managementStrong skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyKnowledge of other Agile approaches/techniques: XP, Kanban, SAFe, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Agile GamesKnowledge of JiraKnowledge of ConfluenceProficient in ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
