MASAC (Massachusetts Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center) is a Section 35 treatment center located in the beautiful Myles Standish State Forest in Plymouth, MA. This role is working with individuals with substance use disorders.

How you make a difference

The Director of Clinical Services directs the development and implementation of clinical programming and assessment services; provides clinical leadership; promotes staff education and training; and initiates performance improvement projects. This position is also responsible for monitoring the quality, integrity, and appropriateness of clinical services provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs the development and delivery of evidence-based clinical services to ensure that the highest quality of individual served-centered care is being provided.

  • Provides clinical consultation and support.

  • Provides clinical and administrative oversight of all clinical services staff.

  • Monitors, oversees, and directs the quality and appropriateness of all documentation to ensure compliance with all laws, policies, regulations and accreditation bodies. Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives required by the contract and those that focus on improving delivery of clinical care, assessment services, treatment planning, and fidelity of group and individual treatment.

  • Represents the department in facility-wide committees.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Required: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology preferred.

Experience

  • Required: Experience working with the population served.

  • Preferred: Prior management experience.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Required: Must hold and maintain an active license in the state of employment, in one of the following disciplines: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or other applicable clinical licensure.

  • Required: Any client-mandated certifications and/or training.
