Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Dietary Aid. The Dietary Aid is responsible for:
Assisting in preparation of the salad bar
Ensuring the dining room and kitchen remain clean at all time
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and unit supplies
Operating the dish machine
Assisting the Cook as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
Comply with established guidelines for sanitation and safety
Set up the salad bar and prepare vegetables, salads and other salad bar items in a neat and orderly fashion
Ensure the salad bar displays an attractive and tasteful appearance
Utilize portion control guidelines when preparing food
Record dish machine temperatures as required
Follow cleaning assignments of the dining room and kitchen area daily
Interact well with patients in the serving line providing good customer service and offer assistance when needed
