Actalent Cmm Programmer in Plymouth, Indiana

Job Title: Lead CMM Programmer

Join our team as a Lead CMM Programmer, where you will take the helm in developing and optimizing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to ensure precise and efficient measurements of product characteristics and gauges. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and collaborate with three other CMM programmers to support the launch of new products. Your responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints to determine the best methods for CMM programming, writing programs using PC-DMIS software, and providing technical support to CMM operators. Additionally, you will maintain preventive maintenance logs, conduct regular inspections of equipment, and troubleshoot quality issues to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a CMM programmer

  • Completion of level 2 and/or level 3 CMM programming course

  • Strong GD&T and machining experience

  • Medical device experience

  • Proficiency in PC-DMIS software

  • Knowledge in Solidworks 3D modeling software

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Plymouth, Indiana.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position requiring presence at the facility 5 days a week, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday from 6am to 3pm, and Friday from 6am to 10am. Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturdays based on project timelines.
