Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards, focusing on data modelling, DAX, visualisation, and data integration.

  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

  • Participate in database design and performance tuning.

  • Work within Agile project management frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.

  • Engage in problem-solving and provide solutions to technical challenges.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple projects, maintaining high standards under tight deadlines.

  • Ensure the highest level of data accuracy and attention to detail.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field is preferred. However, self-taught candidates with proven industry experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, visualisation, data integration.

  • Expertise in SQL, with a strong background in writing complex queries, database design, and performance tuning.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and customer service skills.

  • Agile methodology proficiency.

  • Effective time management and adaptability.

  • Project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Database administration skills, with experience in disaster recovery, data security and compliance.

  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, the use of Business Intelligence Tools to gather data from them and the visualisation of that data.

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and Hertzler GainSeeker, particularly in analytics, reporting and system administration.

  • Programming abilities in VBA and Python scripting.

  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations.
