Your role at Clorox:

This role demands a strategic thinker with robust analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles. The FP&A Senior Manager will drive economic performance and support the business strategy and decision-making of the Group Leadership Team.

As an FP&A Senior Manager, your primary responsibilities will include leading the Health & Hygiene Group Planning and Analysis team and executing core FP&A processes. You will coordinate with key stakeholders across our Business Units, both in the US and internationally, while partnering with Corporate Functions to ensure the seamless execution of recurring and new processes. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the H&H Group meets its short and long-term objectives and successfully executes various transformation programs.

In this role, you will:

P&L Management (40%)

  • Quarterly Close Activities and Financial Reporting: Oversee the quarterly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Financial Forecasting and Planning: Lead the development and management of financial forecasts and plans, aligning with business objectives.

  • Financial Forecast Accuracy: Ensure the precision of financial forecasts, identifying and addressing variances.

  • Innovation Group Performance: Monitor and report on the Innovation Group's financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.

Balance Sheet and Cash Management (20%)

  • Impairment Process: Manage the impairment process across the H&H Group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Balance Sheet Reviews: Conduct regular balance sheet reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

  • Cash Flow and Working Capital Optimization: Optimize cash flow and working capital, implementing strategies to improve liquidity and financial efficiency.

Group Calendars and Routines (20%)

  • Definition and Communication: Define and communicate group calendars and routines, ensuring alignment across the organization.

  • Partnership with Group Operations: Collaborate with Group Operations to establish and maintain compelling rhythms and routines.

  • Partnership with Corporate FP&A and Business Planning Teams: Work closely with Corporate FP&A and Business Planning teams to ensure cohesive financial planning and analysis.

Projects (20%)

  • Simplification and Automation: Drive initiatives to streamline and accelerate core financial processes.

  • Enable Tech Transformation: Leverage current company efforts to enhance Finance capabilities through technological advancements.

  • Business Support: Actively participate in initiatives led by the Group to provide comprehensive business support.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting is highly preferred

  • Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide actionable insights.

  • Financial Modeling: Expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models to support decision-making.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Strong skills in developing and managing budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Data Management: Ability to manage and analyze large datasets using tools like Excel, SQL, and financial software.

  • Presentation Skills: Capability to create and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive long-term growth.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial insights and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in financial software and tools, as well as a solid understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100

–Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100

–Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
