Job Title: Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description

This individual will be joining a global life sciences manufacturing company as a Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst. This person will be the 7th member of the Accounts Payable team and will be responsible for invoice processing, invoice issue resolution, and expense reporting/reimbursement.

Responsibilities

Process vendor’s invoices and reimbursement requests for payments.

Match invoices to purchase orders using 3-way invoice matching, verify invoice approval and ensure all proper documentation is provided.

Code payables with general ledger account and reimbursement requests and project and program codes

Enter invoices into the Oracle Fusion AP module.

Verify timely process of payments in Oracle Fusion on approved invoices. Ascertain that all invoice documentation matches the checks issued.

Maintain and update vendor files by payee categories (consultant or service providers, credit cards, staff reimbursements, regular vendors, vendor W-9 information, etc.) in alphabetical sequence

Review and reconcile vendor’s monthly statements

Audit expense reports in compliance with corporate policies using Concur tool

Vendor follow up, communication

Qualifications

3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience; preferably from biotech, pharma, life sciences; Publicly traded and similar sized company experience required

Must know 2-way and 3-way invoice matching, PO & Non-PO invoice

Large ERP Experience required; Oracle Fusion preferred

Concur or Expensify required

General knowledge of accounting practices, including processing invoices for payment, journal entries, account reconciliation, accruals, prepaids, journal entries, general ledger and month end close support

Full understanding of the Procure-to-pay(P2P) process

Excel- Pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in high volume environments

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

This is a fully ONSITE position in Pleasanton, CA.
