Description

Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team today! This is a temp to hire opportunity which can start immediately.

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and assist in implementing audit recommendations.

• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
