Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining flow monitors and rainfall monitoring equipment in various environments, including sewers. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Installation of flow monitors within sewer systems

• Installation of rainfall monitoring equipment

• Calibration of flow monitors

• Collection and review of sewer flow and rainfall data for accuracy

• Operation and maintenance of flow monitors and rainfall gauges

• Manual and telemonitoring inspection of manholes

• Conduct flow isolations, smoke testing, dye water flooding, and site inspections

• Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records in accordance with quality work instructions

• Ensure the safety and mechanical soundness of vehicles and equipment

• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies

• Travel and work overtime hours as required

• Complete all required internal training modules

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction or environmental fields

• Proficiency with hand tools and installation techniques

• Ability to maintain accurate records

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Commitment to safety and following procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with environmental monitoring equipment

• Knowledge of plumbing or construction practices

• Ability to work in various weather conditions

• Willingness to travel and work overtime

• Capability to work as part of a crew

Work Environment

You will work as part of a crew, traveling to different sites from Santa Rosa to Fresno. The role requires working in outdoor environments, sometimes in challenging weather conditions, and you will be exposed to sewage. The shift is from 4 AM to 12:30 PM, but you must be open to starting as early as 12 AM or as late as 6 AM. Per diem and overnight stay expenses will be covered. Equipment used includes impact drills, hammer drills, and Bosch drills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasanton, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00

Contract to hire - ability to go permanent and get raises.

They will be able to learn a lot about the specific industry and will work with a great team, as well as get certified with CPR training

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Pleasanton,CA.
