Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description

• Sample Analysis: Perform a variety of laboratory tests on body fluids, tissues, and cells to diagnose and treat diseases.

• Microscopic Examination: Use microscopes to examine samples and identify microorganisms.

• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.

• Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control procedures.

• Data Recording: Record and report test results to physicians and update patient medical records.

• Compliance: Adhere to laboratory health and safety regulations and accreditation requirements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide essential diagnostic information.

Hard Skills

• Medical Lab Scientist

• ASCP certified (MUST HAVE, cannot be considered with out Medical Lab Scientist ASCP or AMT certification)
