Robert Half Public Tax Accountant in Pleasant Hill, California

Description

One of our clients in the Pleasant Hill area is looking for a Tax Accountant for the upcoming tax season.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.

  • Maintain and cultivate client relationships by providing excellent customer service.

  • Evaluate tax regulations to assist clients in tax planning and comply with legal requirements.

  • Assist clients with IRS and state notices or audits.

  • Conduct tax research to keep up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.

  • Participate in business development efforts to expand current client services and acquire new clients.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. (CPA or Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years' of relevant tax experience in public accounting.

  • Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.

  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
