TREATMENT COORDINATOR/MENTOR: Looking for a mature individual (must be 21+) to mentor youth in the community. Applicant must pass a background screening through child protective services and federal criminal investigations. Applicant must be willing to work with at-risk youth and demonstrate clear and appropriate boundaries with youth and families. Applicant must be a responsible member of the community and be good role models to the youth and families we serve.
JOB DUTIES:
· monitor and coordinate with youth in the community: find employment, assess and monitor clients goals and assist with skills to accomplish them, coordinate monitor youth schedule, pro-social activities
· Provide a role model for youth and demonstrate clear and mature boundaries
· provide transportation: treatment, court obligations, team meetings, etc.
· provide support to youth's proctor/foster homes
· communicate and coordinate w/ treatment team
· provide support in education: help enroll in high school or college, monitor grades & attendance.
· assist with crisis intervention and complete documentation
· document daily activities
· attend court with youth and other division/program meetings
· *we are looking to hire immediately *
HOURS - Starts as a part time position, but may work towards full time. Afternoons are preferred when clients are in school. (Summer hours vary)
