Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- CNC Wire EDM programming, setup and production (Mitsubishi)
- Write programs from both 2D drawings and solid part models
- Ability to hold .0002" tolerance and perform own measurements to verify results
- Pop holes in blocks to wire EDM
- Strong working knowledge of the wire EDM process
- Keep proper Equipment maintenance: maintain equipment and safety logs as recommended by machine manufacturer
- Troubleshoot issues as needed
- Train additional operators as necessary
Essential Requirements To Do this Job
- Minimum 5 years experience using wire EDM equipment
- Must be dependable, good attendance required
- CT Apprenticeship for Tool and Die Maker a plus
- Software currently used: Esprit, Key Creator, SolidWorks
