JPMorgan Chase Wholesale Credit Risk Management - Generative AI Executive Director in Plano, Texas

As an Executive Director in the Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) organization, you will lead an applied AI (Artificial Intelligence) team dedicated to leveraging Large Language models and advanced AI to build Risk solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with Credit Officers, Product Managers and Technology Teams to identify risk processes that could benefit from the use of LLMs (Large Language Models) and develop innovative solutions. Your proven experience in deploying machine learning algorithms and solutions in scaled production environments will be critical to taking projects from initial POCs to full production. You will help accelerate the broader organization's journey towards leveraging AI to achieve business results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define, build and launch the next-generation AI/ML solutions to support Wholesale Credit Risk

  • Own the GenAI product roadmap by building incremental offerings to achieve target state capabilities

  • Learn about and understand Credit processes to drive practical and successful solutions

  • Understand the technical challenges and dependencies to ensure effective product launches and deliver an experience

  • Work with Product and Technology teams to design and deploy services that can be integrated with strategic systems and processes

  • Lead and mentor members of the WCR LLM team and also provide thought leadership across Credit Analytic Modeling

  • Engage, partner and influence key stakeholders

  • Showcase solutions to senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a Quantitative or ML-related field

  • 10 years of experience in Analytics or Modeling roles

  • 5+ years of practical experience implementing Machine learning solutions at scale and Python experience

  • Experience with Natural Language Processing and LLMs, deep learning, experimental design and A/B testing, recommender systems or other deployed data products

  • Proficient understanding of fundamental AI and ML techniques

  • Experience leading complex strategic product initiatives

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong client partnership and stakeholder management skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Industry experience within finance preferred

  • Research or work experience with LLM agents
