Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President, Client Partner with web and digital experience for our Plano, Texas office. This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite 3 days per week, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

The Vice President, Client Partner, is a key member of the agency’s leadership team, responsible for strategically advancing client relationships and driving business growth. This individual is proactive, insights-driven, and excels at uncovering new opportunities to push clients' businesses forward. In this role, they manage and motivate teams, transforming data into actionable strategies that deliver measurable impact.

Viewed as a leader by both clients and their teams, the Vice President is capable of selling, establishing, and autonomously growing new relationships. They maintain a consultative growth mindset, continuously learning from their teams, clients, and the broader capabilities of the agency to connect the dots for optimal outcomes. Their ability to articulate complex ideas in clear, convincing narratives is essential in guiding clients and internal teams toward success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Impact

  • Leads multi-track engagements, understands the interplay between, and ensures we are driving an impact when it all rolls up to client results.

  • Evaluates and sets priorities that work towards ultimate success for our clients and us.

  • Work with clients to define, quantify, and communicate the impact our partnership has had on their business.

Journey and Experience

  • Successfully catalyzes our relationship with clients from onboarding, successful delivery, and ultimately the continuation of our partnership (e.g., renewal, extension, scope increase).

  • Ensure our clients have a consistent experience with us when we have different teams operating in different parts of the organization.

Engagement Models

  • Competently leads larger single relationships that contain multiple service types including integrated and non-integrated workstreams.

  • Confident to take on new forms of complexity at scale and well versed in handling significant escalations and/or triaging moments.

  • Involved in multi-year relationships that achieve annual commits of $4-$8M or higher.

Growth

  • Expert in prioritizations and identifying the recommendations for our clients that we believe will have the most impact to their business.

  • Proven ability to craft winning narratives within proposals, scope adds, or significant scope changes; proven ability to sell in new work we helped identify.

  • Is able to articulate opportunity relevance/business growth signs to secure and maintain internal staffing consistencies across the team.

Financial Acumen

  • Full comprehension and ability to lead the entire financial lifecycle of deal.

  • Growing negotiating skills in terms of shaping expectations and perceptions to streamline the pricing conversation.

  • Supports account planning activities and foster partnerships with cross-discipline leadership.

Terms & Agreements

  • Accountable for verifying and monitoring MSA level terms to ensure on-going compliance.

  • Partners with legal to brief them and help facilitate the smoothest process possible for our clients.

  • Demonstrated experience navigating negotiations and trade-offs with our clients through the agreement process.

Qualifications

  • 11+ years of work experience that includes in a fast-paced digital creative agency.

  • Understanding of digital landscape and website best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform web strategy and digital recommendations.

  • Proven ability to sell in new work we helped to identify that will drive organic growth.

  • Leads from a place of purpose and helps identify/define in a way it shapes a shared vision.

  • Fosters an environment that promotes collaboration across disciplines and clients to create growth moments.

  • High-competence in navigating challenging relationships or the ability to repair significant-level relationships.

Compensation Range: $143,000- $205,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
