Luminator Technology Group Senior Product Manager in Plano, Texas
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our global mobile video product strategies. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader who can effectively challenge the status quo, solve complex problems, and drive innovative solutions with a hands-on approach. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of user-centered design. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet market needs and drive business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our product offerings, work closely with senior leadership, and make a significant impact on the company's success. This hybrid role requires a presence in the Plano, TX office three (3) days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for hardware and software products, based on market trends and customer feedback.
Requirements Analysis: Conduct market research to gather insights and translate them into detailed product requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth product development.
Product Development: Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
User Experience: Ensure products deliver an exceptional user experience by collaborating with design teams on user-centered design principles.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitors to refine product strategies and maintain market competitiveness.
Go-to-Market: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning, pricing, and promotion, to ensure successful product launches.
Performance Optimization: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Lifecycle Management: Manage products through their lifecycle, making data-driven decisions on updates and end-of-life strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on product progress, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in product management or a related field, with a strong background delivering integrated hardware & software systems.
History of successful execution of the product development and management lifecycle from ideation to end of life.
Comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies, sales techniques, and product demonstration methods.
Solid grasp of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and the coordination of people and resources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in interpreting new information and its implications for current and future decision-making.
Preferred Experience:
Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Technical background in hardware and software engineering principles.
Direct experience and knowledge of digital and analog video technologies including encoding, decoding, machine learning models, and systems.
Demonstrated success in bringing innovative products from concept to market.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with development methodologies and project management tools.
Understanding of user experience design principles and market research methodologies.
Strategic mindset with a passion for staying current with industry trends and technologies.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for hardware products.
Experience with product analytics and data visualization tools.
Travel Requirements:
This role requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
