Wells Fargo Senior Finance Manager- Technology Finance in PLANO, Texas

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Technology Finance Team. This role reports to the CFO of the Technology Chief Operating Office, Cybersecurity, and Office of the Head of Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to foster a culture of strong consultation, sound controls, and continuous improvement. This leader will be recognized for accomplishments related to implementing and managing well controlled, sustainable processes that deliver strong results and continuous improvement, as well as for leading and driving the financial lens and support for our hosting strategy implementation.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the FP&A Function for the consolidated team, which entails partnering with the Technology Business Finance teams across TCOO, Cybersecurity and OHOT to complete the monthly close, annual budget and monthly forecast updates as well as ad hoc analytical and reporting requests to support Corporate or Technology emerging needs

  • Create concise and streamlined consolidated views / materials for senior level audiences which provide the consolidated view of each respective technology organization

  • Act as the trusted business partner to the TCOO and Cybersecurity leaders and their teams

  • Ensure proper preparation of financials for operating reviews and reports; financial ownership for business cases; and ad-hoc financial analyses

  • Lead the financial processes for the monthly results close and financial forecast/budget updates

  • Provide insight through meaningful and actionable analytics

  • Provide financial advice and guidance for strategic planning as well as other long-range line of business level plans

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, seek to enhance or transform current processes that can benefit from improvements, and take ownership in pushing things forward and making progress

  • Act as the voice of the customer and drive transparency, cost simplification and value measurement

  • Lead the optimization of organizational metrics to drive efficiency

  • Exercise sound judgement, and apply an appropriate level of skepticism and review and challenge through collaborative partnership with the Technology Finance leadership team

  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals who serve as strategic advisors to their Technology Business Finance and Technology partners

  • Uphold and maintain a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency

  • Ensure regulatory, data, and controls compliance for all processes/programs undertaken by finance teams

  • Build relationships and partner closely with all Wells Fargo Technology leaders as well as partners across the Corporate Finance and Business Finance organizations

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high performing teams

  • Demonstrated success as change agent for a large multi-functional organization

  • Extensive experience with Enterprise, or large-scale technology transformation and or re-engineering experience

  • Experience with Technology Information & Cyber Security, Cloud Migration, Unit Costs and Product / Pricing methodologies

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to and working with senior executive-level leaders

  • A demonstrated working understanding of technology and key role it plays within a Product based organization

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Ability to effectively negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships and drive decision-making

  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management and to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications

  • Demonstrating flexibility and ability to pivot to meet the demands of an everchanging environment

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
