Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Financial Reporting Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst in Financial Reporting.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support A&F functions for TMMNK, TBMNC and MTMUS and others as needed.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Financial Reporting department's objective to by preparing Management and audited Financial Statement support related primarily to North American Manufacturing Companies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare Audited Financial Statements and management reports to support the North American Manufacturing Companies.

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations primarily related to North American Manufacturing Companies.

  • Collaborate with various accounting groups regarding accounting matters for MTM and TBM.

  • Administer fluctuation analyses and facilitate flux review.

  • Work directly with the battery plant management to understand and assist in recording new transactions with the start of production.

  • Maintain and enhance Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

  • Comply with and support external and internal audits which include public accounting quarterly reviews, annual audits and controls

  • testing.

  • Prepare Monthly financial packages for the designated plants and provide analysis when requested.

  • Update desk procedures and relevant policies, procedures, and SOX narratives.

  • Support key corporate, divisional and departmental projects.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting.

  • Strong understanding and practice in the application of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • SOX compliance or internal control experience.

  • Presentation and communication skills are required for management presentations.

  • Experience with an ERP such as SAP and BPC

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

Added bonus if you have

  • CPA or CPA Candidate

  • Higher level degree

  • A mix of public and private industry accounting

  • ERP conversion experience (preferably SAP). IFRS experience

  • SAP/BPC experience
