My Plano Real Estate client is seeking a property accounting manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising property accountants and managing a portfolio of wholly owned office properties. The role also involves oversight of accounting and financial reporting for assigned external partnerships and joint ventures.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising Property Accountants and overseeing a portfolio of wholly owned office properties

• Reviewing all General Ledgers, reporting, and monthly reporting packages

• Overseeing accounting and financial reporting for assigned external partnerships/joint ventures

• Reviewing and approving calculations of Operating expense reimbursement from tenants for assigned portfolio

• Coordinating annual budgets and reforecasts

• Assisting with prorations on acquisitions as needed

• Training new property accountants and coaching all property accountants

• Handling ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

• Reviewing leases signed over 5,000 to 10,000 square feet for assigned properties

• Preparing quarterly cash projections and monthly review of available cash for distribution for assigned portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelors in accounting

• 5+ years commercial property accounting

• strong leadership/supervisory experience
