Job Description:

Overall Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Testing Engineer to join AT&T’s Connected Solutions team. We bring connectivity to cars, we deliver visibility to fleet management and create solutions to support millions of connected IoT devices world-wide.

The Lead Product Development Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the delivery of world-class products and solutions. The ideal candidate is able to understand the solution across all architecture and delivery domains, in particular the customer’s business and technical success criteria, ensuring the requirements, architecture and design/development represent a cohesive and fully integrated end-to-end solution

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Design:

  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks.

  • Identify and select appropriate testing tools and technologies.

  • Test Execution and Defect Remediation:

  • Execute manual and automated test cases, including regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

  • Document and analyze test results, and report defects and issues to the development team.

  • Engages with operations, architecture, vendor and other related teams to quickly remediate defects to ensure adherence to success criteria and test-ready timelines

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and requirements.

  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.

  • Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges to the team and management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in deploying products, platforms, networks, and solutions on large-scale, complex programs.

  • Strong technical expertise in wireless networking, backoffice (provisioning/billing) system software, hardware and cloud

  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including internal/external clients, vendors, and local MNOs globally.

  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical and business requirements clearly and effectively.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment and collaboration across architecture and delivery teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Education : Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience : Typically requires 10+ years of experience in a related role.

Our Lead Product Development Eng earn between 143,800.00 - 215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
