Community Hospital Corporation Financial Analyst in Plano, Texas
Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is looking for a Financial Analyst based out of our office in Plano, TX. The Analyst will support both the Vice President of Hospital Productivity and Accounting and the Director of Financial Analysis.This position provides analytical support to the Hospital Accounting and Productivity functions through data and financial analysis.

Major Responsibilities
Monthly reconciliation of CHC prepared financial reports vs hospital prepared financial statements
Upload hospital financial data into IBM Cognos Analytics tool on a monthly basis
Completion of annual government survey for owned hospitals
Maintenance of master tables in CHC productivity software on a biweekly basis
Analysis of hospital department labor productivity on an ad hoc basis
Assistance with analysis of financial and productivity data received from hospitals as part of operational assessments
Periodic support of CHC’s SVP of Strategic Analysis with hospital service line profitability analyses. Support would include preparing data requests, building hospital service line financial models, and preparing narrative reports to share analysis findings with the hospital/client.
Periodic support for CHC client hospitals with financial analytical needs.

Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Hospital Productivity & Accounting and the Director of Financial Analysis.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Three or more years of healthcare finance experience
Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Experience in completing moderately complex data analyses required
Experience writing sequel reports/queries
Experience with Cognos or other Business Intelligence tools
Skills and Knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Ability to define and prioritize specific realistic, goals and objectives
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Responds in a timely manner to messages/requests
Possesses a core set of ethical values
Knowledge of hospital accounting and revenue cycle
Proficient understanding and application of the concepts and terminology unique to the healthcare industry
