Job Description:

The position will play an integral role in coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables for a larger program which requires engagement from teams across multiple organizations. This role will include, communicating/reporting the target outcomes, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing visibility into the health of the program. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost. Will lead team in planning project deliverables of multiple strategic initiatives and network driven programs at one time spread across multiple lines of businesses (LOB’s). Specific focus for this position is Application Data Controller (ADC) driving the technology program from start to the finish state in compliance with Enterprise Change Management policies and standards as defined by the Bank. This position will in addition be responsible for ensuring proper processes are in place to manage financials, resources, facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Risk and Compliance partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage program financials and supporting resource planning.

  • Define, manage, and facilitate routines to support project delivery and resource reporting.

  • Takes ownership of the successful implementation of project scope as agreed upon with the Line of Business Partners.

  • Define and manage project budgets.

  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.

  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.

  • Manage status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.

  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.

  • Support resource planning for delivery/execution

  • Documents the success metrics upon project completion

  • Assist in resource financial forecasting and resource planning for delivery/execution

  • Work independently, possess a strong process expertise, and demonstrate strategic thinking and tactical planning with a proven ability to turn complex ideas into well-structured processes.

  • Develop concise and succinct presentations that will influence dialogue at all levels including the expertise in knowing the fine balance between detailed and high-level messages.

  • Ask the right questions, using tools and visual materials, to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • 5 – 7 years of Infrastructure Project Management Networking experience and familiar with terms such as Load Balancing, Firewall, HTTP, DNS and other protocols

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in project delivery of highly complex network programs or projects within predicted cost, time, and quality estimates.

  • Experience with the Project Management methodology and tools such as Enterprise project and change standards.

  • Responsible for project coordination for Network sponsored projects within the technology systems of record (Nexus, ITSM, etc.).

  • 5 – 7 years of experience planning, creating, managing, and processing change tickets

  • 3 – 5 years of experience working with BMC Remedy.

  • Ability to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Ability to track and analyze projects’ performance, expenditures, procurement, and report about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Working familiarity with JIRA and Agile View

  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving & organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external partners.

  • Strong risk and governance mindset

  • Process design, remediation, and improvement skills

  • Project Management skills and disciplines

  • Strong relationship management skills to gain buy-in, build consensus and resolve conflicts timely.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities for concurrent projects effectively.

  • Strong decision-making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely compressed deadlines.

  • Ability to navigate enterprise, research, and resource information across the bank.

  • Ability to analyze and communicate changes to leadership to provide risk assessment and relaying change objectives.

Desired Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

  • Visio and process mapping

  • Procurement management experience

  • Experience negotiating with customers to develop project task deliverable dates.

  • Experience creating work breakdown structure (WBS) - translate requirements into tasks.

  • Experience with task scheduling and resource assignment

  • Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, cost, verify scope.

  • SCRUM Master

  • PMP Certified

  • Working experience with ServiceNow.
